The popularity of large screens with a diagonal of 39 inches or more is growing rapidly. They have become indispensable for designers, traders, programmers, and everyone who values comfort and productivity. One such monitor replaces two or even three standard ones - and at the same time takes up less space on the desk.

According to Mordor Intelligence forecasts, the monitor market will grow from $47 billion in 2024 to $61 billion in 2029. The segment of ultra-wide models from 39 to 57 inches is growing the most. The reason is obvious: multi-window work, smooth image, more details on the screen.

Which mount to choose for a large monitor?

For a large display to work effectively, it needs not only a proper fit, but also a secure mount. Standard desktop stands are not suitable for this. You need to look for a solution that can withstand a weight of 20 to 27 kg, has flexible adjustment, and complies with VESA standards up to 200x200 mm.

That's why we at TEHNOTABLE have added a new desktop bracket for 24-57 inch monitors to our range. Its main advantages:

·         load capacity up to 27 kg,

·         compatibility with flat and curved screens,

·         quick installation on top of the countertop,

·         built-in USB-A and USB-C ports,

·         hidden cable management.

This is a universal solution that meets the modern demands of users switching to large monitors.

Eye distance and table size: comfort above all else

The importance of the correct depth of the work surface is often underestimated. For large screens, this is critical. If the monitor is placed too close, eyes get tired, neck gets tense, and productivity drops.

Indicative recommendations:

·         For 39–43" : table width — at least 120 cm, depth — 80 cm. Distance to the eyes — from 80 to 110 cm.

·         For 49" : table with a width of at least 140 cm, a depth of 90 cm. The optimal distance is 100–130 cm.

·         For 57" : it is desirable to have a width of 160 cm and a depth of at least 100 cm. The distance to the eyes is 110–150 cm .

A better solution is to mount your screen on a bracket that allows you to adjust the height and depth of the position. This way, you can adapt the monitor to you, not the other way around.

Result

Ultrawide screens are no longer a luxury, but the new standard of work. However, to fully experience their benefits, it is worth taking care of proper ergonomics. A strong mount, the right desk and proper posture are the keys to a healthy and productive workday.

And we at Tehnotable have already taken care of the technical side - the new model of the bracket is ready to withstand even the most massive monitors. All that remains is to test it in your space.
