Myofaska, what is it and "what is it eaten with"?

Myofascia is the line of muscles and fascia, in turn fascia is the connective tissue of muscles (fascia).

Fascia "flows around" absolutely all the muscles of our body with a thin film, and connects everything into one whole. When there is overstrain, long stress, muscle injuries, the fascia also suffers. Seals appear, the tension remains. You can identify your problem areas by pressing on the muscles in search of stress zones (trigger points).

In order to process and return the connective tissue to a normal state, you need to do a myofascial release (Release - relaxation, relief) with the help of pressure (and, of course, take precautions).

For us sedentary office workers, these are the buttocks. The stress of sitting for the connective tissue is no less than that of abundant movement. So the problem of trigger points is relevant for absolutely everyone.

Myofascial trigger points are areas of hyper-irritability, usually tense bundles of skeletal muscles or in the muscle fascia, and are divided into:

  • Active - the area of increased irritability manifests itself in the form of pain;
  • Latent - pain is manifested only during palpation;
  • Primary – the area is activated during acute or chronic muscle overload;
  • Associative - an area of increased irritability in a muscle or in its fascia: appear when this muscle is overloaded by excessive activity, which compensates for the insufficient activity of another muscle or is caused by the activity of a critical point in another muscle.

By alternating work sitting and standing with the help of a table with height adjustment, you reduce the load on the connective tissue of the gluteal muscles, which in turn helps to avoid stress zones in the body and avoid hyperirritability.
